That fateful day.
Hallelujah, praise the Lord.
The day has come -
that fateful day,
the day we've all (or at least, I've) been waiting for...
Kate just went down for a nap happy as a clam!
No whining.
No crying.
No desperate eyes, pleading for me to pick her back up and not submit her to the hell that is a nap.
And most importantly -
no. pacifier.
(excuse me while I dance a quick jig!!!)
We were just much too dependent on those little suckers (pun very much intended), and looks like the breakthrough finally came - let's hope it sticks, anyway. I'm probably jinxing the heck out of it by writing this post, but I couldn't help shouting it from the rooftops!
It's the little things, y'all.
